American Lakha Pigeons

Breed: Fantail Pigeon (Columba livia domestica), white color variety • Key Feature: The large, upright, fan-shaped tail. A pure Fantail has 30-44 tail feathers forming a full circle like a peacock, unlike normal pigeons • Look: Pure snow-white plumage, small head, short beak, red / pinkish eyes and feet, fluffy feathered feet (muffs), chest puffed forward • Size: Small to medium, very elegant and upright stance • Temperament: Very calm, friendly, and ornamental. They don't fly long distances - they are kept for show and beauty, not for racing • Common in Pakistan: Known locally as White Lakha Kabootar / American Lakha - very common for hobby breeding
