Siamese have a reputation for being loud, clingy and clever, and Himalayans for being Persians with better eyes and the same coat problems.
Both are becoming easier to find here, and most of what is written about them online describes cats living in a different climate and a different kind of home.

- How vocal is it, honestly? Siamese owners always warn about this and nobody believes them until they own one.
- Does it cope with being alone during working hours?
- Himalayan owners: is the grooming load the same as a Persian, or worse?
- How does it handle the summer?
